Appellant Donna Jean Perrin was convicted upon her plea of guilty to the crime of attempting to pass a forged check with the intent to defraud under AS 11.25.020(2). The trial Judge imposed a sentence of eighteen months. Appellant has appealed to this court, contending that the sentence she received is excessive and, in addition, that the trial Judge failed to articulate sufficient reasons for imposing the sentence he did.
